Basically need to know if it’s a descent club or not, what kind of shots I can attempt with it (I haven’t played golf in close to 20 years) .. what it sells for new, et cetera.

It is a hybrid with 21 degrees of loft.
Hybrids are a newer club that has popped up since the last time you probabaly played golf. They are a mix of a thin bladed club, and a large-headed club. They are meant to be played off a tee on long par 3’s, and off the fairway for long shots. The average golfer can hit it between 190 and 230 yards.
This club (along with all hybrid clubs) takes skill to hit. You need a good swing. Most amateurs have trouble getting the ball in the air, or making it fly straight. They just ‘top’ the ball and watch it skid to a halt 80 yards ahead. You will not be very good when you start out, and should not get this club.
It could probabaly sell for $30 new, or $10 used. It looks like an older model of club, and isn’t nery nice either.

Maybe he will start again in March. I can’t see him out for too long.
