Ive known this girl for about 3 years now, were both in high school… shes a senior and im a junior this year, we met on the schools golf team where we are both the best in our gender. I have liked her more than a friend for about a year now. I have always gotten mixed signals from her, seems like one day she putty in my hands and the next she wants nothing to do with me. I have asked her out before twice and gotten the ‘just friends’ card both times. But now over this past week she has suddenly cought interest in me, so I asked her out to a movie. She said yes, and then a few days before announced that she had a tournament and could not go. When she got back she asked me how I was going to make up for last week, so I told her we could go see a movie, as we previously planned, but didnt have time to set a date. I am going out of town at the end of this week and I want to have a sure-fire way of figuring out once and for all if she is interested or not. (Also, I am an avid guitarist and she wanted me to learn a song for her, so I learned the song that she requested, she said it meant alot to her, and I also learned Im Yours by Jason Marz and planned to play that for her also. So I have a good game plan, Im just not sure what to do with it.)

I’d you should maybe invite her round yours before you go just for a couple of hours and if she comes over just so she can see you before you go away, she must like you. i think you should play her the song then and go for a movie when you get back, as that will be a conversation starter for when you get back.

I have played golf on and off for about 5 years, but never seem to keep it up.. i am reasonable at golf, and can hit the ball well usually. but i want a new set of clubs from my old junior ones as i am not 16 and starting again (this time hopefully playing properly). what clubs would you recommend getting like what type of irons sets and can you name some good examples?
and what golf balls are the best to get more accurate shots not necessarily long range

It depends on your skill level, I like blade irons but most people use cavity backed , or over sized forgiving irons they take out a lot of the penalty of mishit shots but they also limit the player to hitting the ball straight,not much workability. The main thing a player can do for his and or her game is to practice. If you hit a club a thousand times ,no matter what brand it is you will do it well. I played with a set of clubs bought at wal-mart ,driver,three wood, five wood, irons five Thur picthingwedge and a putter and a bag for eighty five dollars and was able to play into the low eighties . Clubs don’t make the golfer. I have since bought good clubs
I have been golfing for 3 years but I had a very crappy junior set with only like 7 clubs, I took a break for 2 years and now I want to start again but I have no clue what to buy? I’m turning 16 in little less than a month and I’m pretty short for my age.
Any ideas on what to buy I need everything: Driver, Irons and putter.

i just started golfing again for the first time in about a year. im 14 and was also using a very crappy set… im taking golf a lot more seriously this year, so i bought nike slingshot OSS irons, Nike Sumo 5900, i also started using high quality balls… but cobra and taylormade also makes very good clubs… but ive added about 50 yards with my driver, and a lot more control with my irons.
