Leader board: Stuart Appleby (66), Scott Hend (66), James Nitties (67), Peter Wilson (67) and Adam Scott (68) all took advantage of the perfect morning conditions, while John Daly shot an even par round of 72 and pre-tournament favourite Geoff Ogilvy struggled to a 73.

Have you hit any of the clubs before? That’s how you would know if you like them or not. If you can find them at your local pro shop, they’ll put some tape over the clubface and let you try them out. You may want to get fitted for your clubs. You’re tall enough to play a men’s set. Women’s clubs are cut shorter so buying a women’s set may not suit your game. You can get fitted for a men’s set with a shaft flex suitable to your swing speed. If I were you, I would go that route.

I saw these clubs on amazon and though there are 2 good reviews for the clubs am still not convinced. Any info would be much appreciated.
They are just fine. They are forgiving enough for a beginning golfer. It would be helpful to get them properly fitted though. Especially if you are a bit tall, a bit short, or have very long arms. Otherwise, use them, and use them often. -Cary

The bag has large wheels on it and a adjustable pulling arm on it. clubs consist of 4 woods, 8 irons, putter and chipper. they are in very good condition.

I agree, I wouldnt spend too much on his first set. They may end up using them only a few times before they stop, out grow, etc…
