wilson is ok….but i feel got to change to better one….whats the best club for me….what brand should i look for ….???

Dude, if you just started don’t think about changing clubs and think about getting lessons from a pro. Besides, Wilson isn’t a bad brand. Padraig Harrington uses them and he’s a very qualified tour pro.
1. Lessons
2. Practice in the range
3. Once you’re getting the ball airborne with ease, go to the field
4. Play a lot in the field until you get very good at every aspect of it (ESPECIALLY PUTTING)

I’m an amateur, but I have solid iron and short game. I’ve been playing with some Wilson graphite shafted clubs for a long time and they’re worse for wear. Looking to get a good full set, probably graphite as well, but keep the costs. When I go to Dick’s Sports I just get overwhelmed. Any suggestions? Also, do sets tend to get cheaper in the off-season?

If you want to get serious about your game don’t buy any clubs off the shelf. Go see a pro and get fitted and ask for his advice. After you do that go see another pro and see if he says the same thing. If so, then maybe you can make an educated decision. If they say different things then maybe a 3rd opinion is needed.

forget the graphite shafts unless your are over 60 years old.

I’m an advanced golfer; Not Great but I’ve been golfing for about 4 years. Which set of clubs would you recommend to buy. I’m willing to spend $300 max.
Could you recommend a complete set or tell me a little about the clubs I’m thinking about getting and which one you think is the best.

Also How About A Walter Hagen Set?

I’d stick with the top tier club makers and try to pick up last year’s model which usually saves a lot of $$. Try finding something from TaylorMade, Nike, Titleist, Calaway, Ping, etc.
