The Meschewski Open has got to be the best example of a neighborhood golf tournament in the world. He raised $10k a year for the last five years.
THE GOLF COURSE: He gets over 200 players to compete on two 18 hole courses built around the neighborhood, over streets and between houses using the almostGolf ball. They even cut the fairways with a lawnmower, then paint a circle around the hole as a pho-green.

Thanks to Thomas Burke and the IFC at Auburn University, we were able to create an almostGolf course and play through the campus of Auburn University. NEW OFF-COURSE GOLF BALL TECHNOLOGY:There is nothing like the almostGOLF ball for being able to play golf off the golf course safely. There is not better practice golf ball than the almostGOLF ball. 
The Puma Open was a blast. This was definately something you’ve never seen before. We created a new way to play almostGOLF called the Hail Mary. What is a Hail Mary? During a normal golf tournament we have the best hitter from a foursome hit shots from the tee box with our ball to the other three teammates standing about 40 yards away. Their job is to catch as many ‘golf balls’ as they can. The most catches won.
